World Record for Fuel Consumption
A new Guinness World Record has been set by A Peugeot 308 HDi SR 110 Sets World Recod 5Dr for fuel consumption.
The car was driven on UK roads for a total of 3,700 miles starting from Staxton in Yorkshire via Paignton, Devon and Blackpool to Bridgend in Scotland before returning to Staxton. The car used £39.175 gallons of diesel and averaged a world beating consumption of 126 miles per gallon.
Thus proving the frugal nature of Peugeot’s new HDi technology.
